Our program starts out with once-weekly introductions to each area, but by upper elementary, it becomes an integral part of the program.

A unique component of Odyssey’s elementary program is our Tuesday afternoon Special Interest Workshops. In September, children in 1st – 8th grade choose a workshop that runs for the first half of the year and then select a new workshop to begin in January and run through the end of the year. The workshops allow students to form friendships across grades while enabling deeper exploration of a particular topic area. Recent workshops have included electricity, the human body, yoga, building a natural habitat at the school, and drama.
