Financial Assistance
Indexed Tuition (K-8)
At Odyssey, we understand that not all families can afford a private school education and are committed to providing financial assistance for our families if needed. A diverse learning environment enriches the educational experience for all of our students and families, so the participation of a wide range of families is critical to the health of the school.
Due to this commitment to make an Odyssey education affordable to families of many different economic backgrounds, tuition is determined on a sliding scale that takes into account family income and other assets, a method known as indexed tuition.
Indexed Tuition Awards are based on individual family circumstances and are calculated from information processed through School and Student Services by the National Association of Independent Schools and on the Odyssey Day School Indexed Tuition Application.
If you are interested in having your child join the Odyssey Day School community, but are concerned about your ability to afford tuition, please contact Margaret Douglas, Head of School, to ask about an application for Indexed Tuition.
EEC Vouchers (Infants-Kindergarten)
Tuition assistance is not available through Indexed Tuition for Infants through the Pre-Kindergarten year. However, Odyssey Day School accepts the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) vouchers. EEC vouchers are provided through the Child Care Circuit (CCC) for students in our Early Childhood Program, Infants through Kindergarten. If you are interested in applying for a voucher, please contact CCC at (877) 823-2273.
